Why hello! I didn't see you there. WELCOME! Here on my website you'll get a better understanding of who Sam Scoville really is. Three years ago I moved from New Jersey to New Hampshire to attend Plymouth State University. Here I have broadened my perspective and have developed not only through education but through personal battles and new experiences. Now in my senior year I am faced with a new obstacle, of what to do outside of my educational journey.
Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS)
IDS is a major offered at Plymouth State University allowing the students to create their own major. This allowed me the opportunity to branch out into three majors, Adventure Education, Environmental Science, and Psychology. With these three majors I created Environmental Psychology. Under this personalized major I was able to explore multiple majors and be a part of many different communities.
Environmental Psychology
Summer of 2024
My usual summer is spent on the New Jersey beaches, working as a surf instructor. For the past 3 years this was my summer but I decided it was time to switch it up. The summer of 2024 I decided to live in Plymouth working for NH Fish and Game. I worked for fishery biologists studying stream crossing and brook trout populations on the Baker River watershed. Much different from the New Jersey shore.
