AI and My IDS Major

With technology on the rise, AI both threatens and opens opportunity for new and more employment. In my IDS major of Environmental Psychology AI can help boost environmental work into a new era. A lot if not most environmental work is data analysis and collection. As you can image this means lots of organization, numbers, and interpreting (the most time consuming work on the planet). With the addition of AI in environmental work time spent on data analysis can be reduced to almost nothing. Of course this means, more time spent on actually using the data, however this would take away countless jobs, yet make others so much easier. This concepts also applies to the psychology fields as well as teaching, reducing data analysis along with jobs. The way I see it this will push people and allow them to focus on more complicated tasks. However AI being as powerful as it is, is not something to overlook and I am very weary of where it may go in the future.
